What is Ready Project?

Project Description

The Sensitive Language Regarding Disability for a More Inclusive Society (READY) project stresses the importance of using sensitive language to foster inclusion and equality.

The project raises awareness among trainers and educators to end discrimination and stigmatisation against people with disabilities.

Target Group

Trainers and educators working with people with disabilities and interested in developing their skills in inclusive education are the direct target group of the project. The school community, Staff and Families are the indirect target group.

Project Results

  • An International Report to research the current state-of-the-art in the usage and the teaching of sensitive language towards disabilities in partner countries.
  • Three Learning Mobilities to study the research results (one per mobility) share and design methodologies that can be replicable in every context linked to education.
  • A Toolkit to present all results and methods.
